The road to perfect, beautiful locks is never-ending, and at Rejuvenol we know that. To keep your hair looking perfect you have to work pretty hard, especially if your hair is on the longer side. We're here today with some weird hair hacks that you never knew you needed. Some of these are a little strange, but trust us, they have been proven to work. So let's delve in, and look into these weird hair hacks, keep reading, there may be something to help you out!

1. Tame Pesky Flyaways and Baby Hairs:

It doesn't matter if your hair is styled down or in a nice updo, but nothing is worse than having pesky flyaways and baby hairs ruining your style, and if you have hair on the longer side it is inevitable for this to happen. To tame these pesky hairs, once you are done styling, spray a toothbrush with a non-sticky hairspray, like our Rejuvenol Hairspray, and softly brush down those flyaways and baby hairs. Not only will this make your flyaways blend into your hair but if done correctly will not make your hair appear crunchy or greasy.

2. Look To The Laundry:

There's nothing we hate more than some frizzy, puffy, hair static. In environments or weather where there is low humidity and a dry environment, your hair is more prone to having too much static electricity. To combat this go to your laundry room and grab some dryer sheets. Dryer sheets are known to help remove static from your clothes and the same thing goes for your hair! Dryer sheets contain positively charged ingredients, which when combined with the negative ions in your hair help to neutralize the charge and to make your hair lay flat. Simply take a dryer sheet and rub it over your static hair and watch your strands lay flat. Some people often keep their brushes and combs wrapped in a dryer sheet so that it keeps their charge neutralized.

3. A Good Ol' Plop:

So some of you may already know this, but Hair Plopping has become all the rage when it comes to drying your hair after a shower. In order to hair plop, follow these simple steps. First, start with some wet, freshly washed hair. Next, you are going to want to saturate your hair with a moisturizer (like our Argania Hair Mask) and with a hair styler (like our Argania Styling Cream). Next, take an old t-shirt and lay it down on your bed or a chair with the sleeves side closest to you. You are going to then take the bottom of the shirt (the part furthest from you) and place that on the nape of your neck. Finally, wrap the rest of your hair with the t-shirt and tie the sleeves behind your head. Wait for twenty minutes, and now you've hair plopped! Once taking the t-shirt off, either diffuse your hair with cool air or let it hair dry.

4. Rice Water:

Next time you make rice, don't strain out that water, save it, because it has been proven to be fantastic for your hair. Studies show that rice water contains inositol, a carbohydrate that helps to repair damaged hair. This carbohydrate stays in the hair even after the rice water is rinsed off, and acts as a shield to protect your hair from damage. Rice water also contains amino acids that strengthen the hair from the roots, increase your hair volume, and make your hair shiny and smooth. Rice water is great for your hair and can greatly increase the health of your tresses.

5. Tomato Juice For Blondes:

This one is a little strange, but has been proven time and time again to work. If you have blonde hair, you've probably spent too much time in a pool or in the ocean and were left with some green hair. Rid your blonde hair of those unwanted green tones by soaking your hair in tomato juice. The reason that this works is that the red in the tomato juice neutralizes the green and gives your blonde a boost and vibrant look. Leave the juice in your hair for 20 minutes, then shampoo and condition as you would normally. Repeat if necessary. Some popular YouTubers have tried out this hack and it actually worked for them!

6. No Heat Sock Curls:

You've probably never thought that socks and curls could be used in the same sentence but we are here today to tell you otherwise. This is another tried and true hair hack that has been proven to work. So what you're going to do is you're going to get a couple crew socks and some hairspray. You are first going to spritz your hair with some hairspray before wrapping your hair all the way around the sock. To secure the "curler" tie both ends of the sock so that it will hold. Continue for the rest of your hair wrapping your hair around the sock from the bottom to the top until all of your hair is wrapped. The less hair wrapped, the tighter the curls. After, spritz your whole head of sock curlers with a small amount of hairspray and wait about 10 minutes. Finally, unroll the socks out of your hair and you will be left with beautiful beachy curls. The best part, no heat damage to your hair!

So now that you have some extra tips for your hair that you never knew your needed hopefully your luscious locks will be as beautiful as ever. All six of these hacks havn't shown any sign of damage to the hair and are healthy ways to achieve a certain look or fix a certain hair problem.
